In the southwest region of China, two impressive elevators, 268 and 288 meters tall, were built, completely transforming the daily lives of local students. The elevators rise from the bottom of a deep canyon, offering a modern and efficient alternative for crossing the mountainous region.
Before the elevators were built, students took about three hours to reach school, facing an arduous journey along rocky paths through the mountain. The route was dangerous and time-consuming, representing a major obstacle to access to education.
With the completion of the construction, travel time was reduced to approximately half an hour, making the school routine much more practical and safer for hundreds of students in the region.
Local residents have affectionately nicknamed the elevators "sky school bus," a name that reflects the impressive height of the structures and the positive impact they have had on community life, especially on the lives of young students.
