The leader of the PSD/Açores parliamentary group, João Bruto da Costa, today warned of the challenges of 50 years of regional autonomy, referring to "examples of when the Country turns its back on the Azores", specifically mentioning the issue of mobility as one of these examples.
During his statements, João Bruto da Costa criticized the posture of the Republic in relation to the Azores, referring to a "Camonian" image that, according to him, represents a perspective of smallness in relation to the autonomous region.
The PSD politician warned of the need to recognize the problems that persist in the relationship between the mainland and the Azores, particularly regarding mobility, which continues to be a central concern for the Azoreans.
