Artificial intelligence has arrived in the spiritual world with the launch of Socrates, described as Brazil's first AI, possibly the world's first, dedicated to crossing science, health, and spirituality. The assistant was released just three months ago and represents an innovation at the intersection of technology and spiritual matters.
The project was developed by Nupes (Center for Research in Spirituality and Health at UFJF) in partnership with Dr. Denise Paraná and the technology company InBot. This collaboration between academic researchers, health professionals, and technology developers enabled the creation of the assistant.
Socrates can understand and respond to questions through audio in four languages: Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish. This audio functionality expands access to the assistant, allowing people from different countries and linguistic contexts to interact with it to explore questions related to spirituality and health.
