Extreme heat affected the province of Castellón during this weekend. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) activated the yellow warning for maximum temperatures in the southern interior of the province, indicating hazardous weather conditions for the population.

This new episode of high temperatures extends the exceptionally hot weather that has been felt over the past few days. Temperatures could reach 39 degrees in some areas of the region.

AEMET maintains the southern interior area of Castellón among its meteorological surveillance zones, warning of the need for caution by citizens in the face of these intense heat conditions.
