Going to Rock in Rio? Bring a raincoat; forecast for the weekend is unstable weather and intense winds

The raincoat continues to be an indispensable accessory for those attending Rock in Rio shows this weekend. The forecast is for unstable weather and intense winds, according to the Alerta Rio system, from the city hall of Rio de Janeiro.

This Saturday, when Avenged Sevenfold and Sepultura perform on the Mundo Stage, and Bad Omens and Black Pantera featuring Nervosa on the Sunset Stage, the forecast is not the best. Areas of instability together with the movement of a cold front will influence the weather in the city, causing predominantly cloudy skies with light rain in the early morning, turning to isolated light to moderate rain from the morning onwards. Winds will be weak to moderate.

On Sunday, it is the turn of Calvin Harris and Black Eyed Peas on the Mundo Stage, and Ne-Yo and Jota Quest on the Sunset Stage. The forecast for Sunday also points to unstable meteorological conditions. The first weekend of the festival had already registered Copacabana and Leme as the neighborhoods most sought after by tourists.
