Digne out for PSG-Monaco and it is not an injury

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo4 September 2026 at 11:41

Digne is out of PSG's squad for the game against Monaco. The left-back did not suffer any injury, but was not included in the list of available players for the match.

Digne's absence comes at a particularly delicate time for the team. Nuno Mendes, the usual starter at left-back, is suspended and cannot take part in the match.

With Nuno Mendes unavailable, Digne was the main candidate to occupy the spot in the starting XI. However, the substitute also ended up being left out of the squad, leaving PSG without a natural left-back for this game.

PSG hosts Monaco at home, but the Parisian team will have to find an alternative solution for the left side of defense, given that both the starter and his direct replacement are unavailable for this confrontation.
