GUARDA: Researchers from Portugal and Spain reflect on music and heritage

The Centro de Estudos Ibéricos (CEI) will promote on September 25 and 26 a seminar at the Biblioteca Municipal Eduardo Lourenço, in Guarda, on the theme "Interlocuções entre Música e Tradição: das Paisagens Culturais às Paisagens Sonoras".

The event will bring together researchers from different higher education institutions and research centers from Portugal and Spain, creating a space for reflection on the relationship between music and heritage.

The seminar arises within the scope of CEI's activities, which aims to promote cooperation between Iberian institutions in the areas of research and knowledge.

The initiative aims to explore the connections between music, tradition, and cultural and sonic landscapes, contributing to the academic debate on these themes among researchers from both countries.
