Santa Clara donates one ton of sports equipment

Açoriano Oriental4 September 2026 at 11:20

Santa Clara SAD delivered this week one ton of sports equipment in the town of Rabo de Peixe, on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores. The initiative aimed to support the local community through the donation of materials intended for sporting practice.

The action counted on the collaboration of several local entities, including the Parish Council of Rabo de Peixe, Casa do Povo, Santa Casa da Misericórdia, and the Integrated Basic School of Rabo de Peixe. These organizations were partners in the organization and distribution of the donated equipment.

The quantity of equipment delivered was sufficiently significant to total one ton, demonstrating the commitment of the Azorean football club to contribute to the sporting and social development of the region in which it is based.

This partnership between Santa Clara and the local institutions reflects a joint effort to promote sport and physical activity among the inhabitants of Rabo de Peixe, one of the most populous communities on the island of São Miguel.
