Magical creatures from Portuguese imagination arrive in Santarém

The exhibition "Atlas of Magical Creatures of Portugal" arrives in Santarém and will be on display at the Sala de Leitura Bernardo Santareno between September 5th and October 3rd. The exhibition was created from the book of the same name by the Scalabitan writer Samuel F. Pimenta.

The official presentation of the exhibition is scheduled for September 5th at 3:30 PM. The event brings together a selection of mythical creatures from Portuguese popular imagination that were identified by the author Samuel F. Pimenta.

Santarém, known as the capital of Ribatejo, thus hosts this exhibition that explores Portuguese mythological heritage through the magical creatures present in the country's popular culture. The book that gave rise to the exhibition serves as a documentary basis for this exhibition that promises to transport visitors to the universe of Portuguese imagination.
