The Festicante festival will take place between September 25th and 27th at Parque da Vila, in Aljustrel. The event celebrates this year the centenary of the choral group of the Mine Workers' Industry Union.
The festival is organized by the City Council of Aljustrel, which announced an artistic program that will cross tradition with more contemporary creations. At the center of the initiative will be collective cante, as an expression of identity.
The municipality stated that the objective is to involve visitors and the local community in a great moment of sharing, making the event an enriching and differentiated experience.
The local authority also indicated that the program will be diversified and directed to different audiences, intending to assert Festicante as an asset in service of the community and reinforce the attractiveness of Aljustrel as a place of memory, culture and creation.
