Portuguese drivers can prepare for a new significant rise in fuel prices next week. The forecasts point to diesel increasing by about 15 cents per liter from Monday, while gasoline could register a rise of around 12 cents.
The evolution is directly related to the worsening tension in the Middle East, which continues to pressure international markets and cause oil prices to soar.
This set of factors could translate into an expressive rise in prices at filling stations, possibly even registering the biggest price increase ever.
The values now estimated may, however, undergo changes by Monday, depending on the evolution of international quotes during the coming days.
