Suzy Eddie Izzard will present in Lisbon a solo version of William Shakespeare's Hamlet play. The performance is scheduled for November 22nd at the Grand Auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Belém.

The play will be presented in English, which, according to the organizers, allows the playwright's words to take "full prominence" in the performance.

Suzy Eddie Izzard will bring to life the 23 characters of Shakespeare's famous tragedy, playing all the roles alone on stage. This is not the first time the British artist has performed a large-scale solo show, being recognized for her versatility as a comedian and performer.
