The Municipal Water and Sanitation Services (SMAS) of Torres Vedras have opened competition procedures for recruitment under the modality of public service employment contract for an indefinite period, making available a total of six job positions.
The job positions cover different areas and professional categories. There are two senior technician positions available for the Administrative Division and for the Water and Sanitation Department, one operational assistant position for the Meter Reading and Meter Management Section, one senior technician position with specialization in Occupational Safety for the Construction Supervision and Safety Area, one information systems and technology specialist position for the Cybersecurity Area, and one technical assistant position for the Specific Waste Streams Management Area.
The application requirements vary depending on the desired position. For senior technician positions, a bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, Local Government Administration or Civil Engineering is required, and for Civil Engineering positions, valid membership in the professional association is also required and, in one of the cases, the professional title of Senior Occupational Safety Technician. The information specialist position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, while the operational assistant only needs compulsory education and a driver's license, and the technical assistant requires a level IV dual certification course in Environmental Quality.
