Figueira criticizes requirements for 30-year-old project

The tourism project Lagoa da Vela, with 30 years of existence, has again faced difficulties due to unfavorable opinions and new environmental requirements. The municipality of Figueira da Foz, led by Santana Lopes, criticized the requirements imposed on the project. Santana Lopes accused the responsible entities of "making fun" of the project promoters, given the succession of requirements and bureaucratic obstacles. The project, which aims at the tourist development of the Lagoa da Vela area, has struggled for decades against administrative and environmental barriers.
