Mandolin and guitar give music to Captain's Tower

The Captain's Tower, in Santo Amaro, receives on Saturday, September 5th, at 6 PM, a concert included in the cycle "Secret Island — Beams of Music". The event is promoted by Bicho d'Pêssego — Madeira Cultural Association.

On stage will be the duo composed of Eduardo Sousa, who plays mandolin, and João Tomás Alves, who plays guitar. The concert program goes through different eras and musical languages, ranging from Portuguese baroque to tango.

The repertoire includes the Adagio from Sonata number 23, by Carlos Seixas, a Portuguese composer from the baroque period, as well as the Catalan Songs, by Miguel, although this reference is incomplete in the article.
