Margarida Campelo, Portuguese singer and songwriter, was invited to the BLITZ Posto Emissor podcast after a brief break from the show. Daughter of singer Isabel Campelo and sound engineer Jorge Barata, the artist is about to release her second album, titled "Música de Elevador."
The new album will be presented in October at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon. In addition to her music career, Margarida Campelo teaches jazz, a discipline she also studied throughout her training.
The artist also spoke about the music that has been part of her life since early on and about the entire journey that led her to where she is today. Margarida Campelo also shared her experience at Festival da Canção, a competition that allowed her to share a song she deeply appreciates with a wider audience.
In the interview, the singer confessed that she went to Festival da Canção with the absolute certainty that she wasn't going to win, but considered the opportunity to share a song she loves with more people to be positive.
