The environmental association Zero launched today a digital platform to monitor nighttime flights at Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon. The tool allows citizens to monitor flight activity during the night at the country's main airport.
According to association Zero, Lisbon continues without the right to silence, 536 days after the Government promised to implement nights without flights. The government promise about reducing nighttime noise has not yet been fulfilled in practice.
The launched platform aims to give greater transparency to the nighttime flight issue and allow Lisboetas to monitor compliance or non-compliance with the measures promised by the executive. Association Zero has been pressuring authorities on this matter.
