Infantry Regiment 10 (IR 10) held an Open Day that allowed the public to closely experience the reality of paratrooper troops. The event included military demonstrations, equipment exhibition and various activities aimed at the general public.
The initiative provided visitors with a privileged view of the work and capabilities of paratrooper troops, demystifying the contact between citizens and the armed forces. Family members and friends of the military personnel also had the opportunity to follow the daily life of the soldiers.
The Open Day program also included moments of fellowship that allowed the reunion of old comrades who hadn't seen each other for over four decades, reinforcing the bonds of camaraderie and historical memory of the military unit.
