Middle East: Amnesty denounces new Israeli orders for land confiscation in the West Bank

Amnesty International denounced new Israeli orders for the confiscation of lands in the West Bank. The Israeli army signed at least 15 land confiscation orders during the month of July.

These orders cover approximately 20 hectares of land located in the Jenin province, in the north of the West Bank. The human rights organization Amnesty International considered these actions as serious violations of international law.

The West Bank is a Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967. Amnesty International has been documenting and denouncing Israeli policies of colonial expansion in the region, considering that such confiscations constitute systematic violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Cultural Alliance between Alentejo and Extremadura Takes Shape Through the University of Évora
