A volunteer opportunity is being offered in the municipality of Utuado, in Puerto Rico, through the international platform Worldpackers. The proposal is for a farm dedicated to sustainability-related activities, which is looking for one to three volunteers to help with its operations.
Those selected will work 20 hours per week, with two days off, and may sign up individually, as a couple, or with a friend. Stays vary between one and four weeks, depending on property availability.
The property spans approximately 40 acres, about 161,874 square meters, and offers volunteers accommodation and meals. Tasks include gardening, farming, and general area maintenance.
Volunteers will live surrounded by the tropical forest and collaborate on agricultural tasks, in exchange for full accommodation and meals during the volunteer period.
