From 2027, drivers will be able to pay for parking automatically without using parking meters, ticket validation or mobile phones. This innovation will be possible through a strategic agreement between EasyPark and BYD, an electric vehicle manufacturer. The ParkPay system will be integrated directly into the infotainment system of future models sold in Europe, allowing users to manage parking payment directly from the vehicle's screen.
The technology will also allow locating available spaces and accessing thousands of facilities compatible with the system. In this way, drivers will be able to forget the traditional tasks associated with parking payment, significantly simplifying the parking experience on public and private roads.
This agreement represents a significant step in the integration of mobility services with vehicle technology, eliminating the need to use mobile phone applications or external devices to manage parking time payment.
