Mozambique and UNDP invest 13.1 ME to conserve wildlife in protected areas

The Mozambican government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced a joint investment of 13.1 million euros to strengthen wildlife conservation in the country.

The main objective of this investment is to support local communities living in priority biodiversity areas, promoting coexistence between populations and wildlife.

The project covers Mozambican protected areas, where wildlife conservation will be prioritized through initiatives aimed at protecting threatened species and their natural habitats.
