Cancer-stricken dog rescued by beekeeper helps her reunite with sister she never knew

An abandoned dog's rescue story ended with an unexpected family reunion in the United States. Beekeeper Summer Frazier took in a Maltese that showed up weakened in her garage in Georgia, and discovered he had lymphoma.

According to People magazine, Summer found the dog one morning in her garage in such bad condition that she wasn't even sure it was a dog. The animal walked up to her, staggered, and collapsed at her feet. The Maltese was infested with fleas and in critical health.

The dog was named Dru Hill and died only 14 days after being rescued, due to lymphoma. Summer posted videos of the dog on her TikTok account during the short period she cared for him.

The videos posted by Summer on TikTok ended up leading her to reunite with a sister she had never known, revealing an unexpected outcome for the rescue story.
