Azores Airlines reduces loss to 37.1 million euros in the first half

Azores Airlines recorded a loss of 37.1 million euros in the first half of the year, representing an improvement of about 3.9 million euros compared to the same period last year, when the loss was 41.1 million euros. The Azorean airline thus managed to reduce its financial losses in the first half.

SATA Air Açores, for its part, also managed to lower its loss to 2.1 million euros in the same period. Both Azorean airlines thus show negative results, although with improvements compared to the previous year.

The information was revealed by the Portuguese news agency, which had access to the financial data of the two regional airlines. The companies continue to face economic challenges in the aviation sector.

Dentsu Iberia assures it is "fine and not going to close"

Dentsu Iberia guarantees it will not be affected by the Japanese group's global restructuring plan, which includes closing up to 160 international units by 2028. The agency maintains clients such as Turismo de Portugal, BPI, Betclic, and CR7, and is currently preparing a proposal for the Turismo de Portugal tender.

Rede Expressos 'cedes' Sete Rios terminal to competitor FlixBus starting September 24

FlixBus has also filed a criminal complaint against the managers of Rede Expressos and demands access to essential services such as ticket offices, customer support points, and baggage facilities. The dispute between the two companies has been ongoing since 2017.
