Terrorist organization will no longer attend Avante

The terrorist organization Islamic State will no longer attend the Avante festival. The PCP decided to end this organization's presence at the event.

This decision comes in a context of growing concern about security at large events in Portugal.

The Avante festival is organized by the Portuguese Communist Party and takes place annually. This year, the event starts this Friday at Quinta da Atalaia, in Seixal, running until Sunday.
