Bosnia detains around 100 migrants attempting to cross border to Croatia

Almost 100 migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan were detained by Bosnian police when they were attempting to illegally cross the border between Bosnia and Croatia, a European Union member country. The information was reported by Bosnian police.

Two groups of people were intercepted on Wednesday while trying to cross the border illegally near Bistrica, in northern Bosnia, according to a statement from the authorities.

One of the groups was composed of 40 Pakistanis and 23 Bangladeshis, according to the same police statement.
