The Novo party's caucus in the Chamber of Deputies triggered the Superior Council of the Public Ministry to request the designation of a deputy attorney general of the Republic to act before the Supreme Federal Court in the Master case investigations.

The request is specifically related to investigations involving Paulo Gonet, a current member of the Electoral Court. Gonet was recently mentioned in the context of the case, which is the subject of exclusive subscriber-only content.

The party's initiative aims to ensure greater transparency and the possible removal of Gonet from the investigations, since he himself appears cited in the Master case inquiries.

The Superior Council of the Public Ministry shall analyze the request and decide on the designation of a new prosecutor to conduct the proceedings involving the current deputy attorney.
