The minister states he never profited from his participation in Instituto Iter. According to him, his only relationship with the institution was as founder and holder of social quotas.
The case raises questions about the proximity between Mendonça's public actions and his private interests in the institution, given that he himself participated in the foundation and was a shareholder of the organization that obtained contracts with public authorities.
