I Liga: FC Porto hosts Benfica on September 20 and Sporting on November 29

FC Porto, champion and sole leader of the I Liga, will host Benfica on September 20, in a classic match for the seventh round of the championship. The other classic at home for Porto will be against Sporting, scheduled for November 29, corresponding to the 12th round of the competition.

The Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) was the entity responsible for announcing the fixtures for the matches. These encounters are traditionally known as the "classics" of Portuguese football, pitting the three big clubs of the country against each other.
