The Venice Film Festival kicked off its 83rd edition on Wednesday (2) in the traditional Italian city, gathering a large number of stars on its red carpet during the first two days of the event. The opening ceremony featured a tribute to George Clooney.
Among the actors who premiered their films at the festival are sisters Kate and Rooney Mara, Domhnall Gleeson, Parker Posey and Laura Dern. The event also presented films about Elon Musk, Rupert Murdoch and Gaza.
On the red carpet, several global fashion celebrities were present, including American Kendall Jenner, Brazilian Marina Ruy Barbosa and Italian Vittoria Ceretti, who attended without her boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio. Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrósio was also present at the opening ceremony.
As happens every year, the festival proved to be a space for personalities to take risks with their looks, with Venice maintaining its tradition of bringing together fashion and cinema at one of the most anticipated events on the international cultural calendar.
