Gisele Case: Report Rules Out Suicide and States That PM Member's Death Is Compatible With 'Second Person's Intervention'

A supplementary report from the São Paulo Forensic Institute reinforced that 32-year-old soldier Gisele Alves Santana did not commit suicide and that her death involved the intervention of a second person. The forensics responded to questions presented by the defense of the police officer's ex-husband, stating that the suicide hypothesis was "falsified" by material incompatibilities found at the scene.

The document is supplementary to previous examinations and was produced at the request of the court to answer the questions presented by the technical assistant of the defense. The Forensic Institute stated that it analyzed all traces documented in the case files and compared the different versions of the death dynamics.

According to the forensics, the set of stain patterns found at the scene is incompatible with the previously presented suicide version.
