A pregnant store manager and her husband were arrested in Teresina suspected of stealing R$ 100 thousand in cell phones. The crime occurred at the store where the woman worked, located in the capital of Piauí.
Part of the stolen cell phones was recovered at Shopping da Cidade, situated in the center of Teresina. The authorities managed to locate the devices after the investigation into the theft.
The couple was taken to the police station after the arrest. The manager was pregnant at the time of the arrest, which was highlighted by the police when reporting the incident.
The total value of the theft, approximately R$ 100 thousand in cell phone devices, drew the attention of local authorities. The investigations continue to verify if other people participated in the crime.
