Three agents of the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard in the Region of Murcia were injured this Wednesday during a chase of a drug boat. The agents were sailing in a fast patrol boat when the vessel used by the traffickers rammed into them.
One of the injured agents required five stitches. The blow caused injuries that manifested more intensely 24 hours after the accident, when the officers began to suffer neck pain.
Juan García Montalbán, territorial secretary general of the Unified Association of Civil Guards (AUGC), was the source that explained the evolution of the health status of the agents after the incident.
The three civil guards are in the process of recovery after the impact with the drug boat during the pursuit operation at sea.
