Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz and the Regional Directorate of Archives, Libraries and Books celebrated a deposit contract on July 16, 2026. The purpose of this contract was the delivery of 184 historical maps and wall charts to the Regional Archive of Madeira.

The deposited materials belong to the Museum Collection "O Lyceu" of Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz. The collection consists of documents dated from the late 19th century.

This deposit aims to preserve and enhance a documentary collection considered of historical and heritage interest. The Regional Archive of Madeira is responsible for the custody and conservation of these materials.
