The Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) revealed the complete jury composition for the 35th edition of the ADCE Awards, featuring more than 55 professionals from 25 countries. Dörte Spengler-Ahrens, newly appointed ADCE president and chairwoman of the Jung von Matt Group, assumes the overall jury presidency. This year, three Portuguese jurors are on the panel, the same number as the previous edition.
Filipe Mesquita, creative director at This is Pacifica, is one of the jurors in the "Design" category, presided by Liza Enebeis from Studio Dumbar/DEPT in the Netherlands. Pedro Barroso, creative supervisor and art director at Uzina, evaluates submissions in the "Integrated & Innovation" category, with Alejandro di Trolio from Cheil Spain in the chair. Sara Soares, executive creative director at VML Portugal, joins the jury of the new "Creativity by Industry Sectors" category, which seeks to recognize creative excellence and the strategic, cultural, and industrial context of projects.
This year marks a significant change: for the first time, projects entered in one of the eligible local awards can also compete at European level, unlike previous editions that were limited to winners. Turkey also joins after becoming an ADCE member. Entries are open to participants from the 25 ADCE member clubs and eligible festivals across Europe.
The submission deadline is September 25, 2026, with winners to be announced on November 20, 2026. Last year, Portugal won 15 awards at the ADCE Awards, having been the fourth most awarded country in the competition.
