An off-duty Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) military officer detained a young man this Thursday in the early afternoon in Valongo. The young man allegedly ran over his ex-partner.

The case involves a security forces member who acted outside of his working hours to detain the aggressor. The victim was run over by the young man, who was her ex-partner.

The incident occurred in the municipality of Valongo, in the Greater Porto region, during Thursday afternoon. The competent authorities were alerted to the incident.
