The Public Prosecutor's Office (PP) opened an urgent investigation into the alleged invasion and theft in the office of Chega leader André Ventura at the Parliament. The information was confirmed by the Attorney General, Amadeu Guerra, when questioned by the Lus news agency.
Amadeu Guerra made this statement after the swearing-in ceremony of the president and judges of the Évora Court of Appeal, limiting himself to clarifying that the case is being handled urgently.
On July 30, the PP had already confirmed to the Lus news agency the beginning of the investigation. The case involves an alleged intrusion into André Ventura's workspace in parliament, with authorities deciding to prioritize the case.
