Police found the mortal remains of Nizan, an 18-month-old baby whose parents, Cristina and Jesús, from Castellón, had buried in a property. The Homicide Group of the National Police in Valencia, which was investigating the case after the parents' arrest on Wednesday, managed to discover where the body was buried.

The arrest of Nizan's parents was reported first by Levante-EMV, a newspaper that belongs to the same editorial group as Mediterráneo. The parents were arrested after a complaint filed by the child's paternal grandfather, which triggered the searches carried out by the National Police and the Mossos d'Esquadra.

With the location of the mortal remains, authorities were able to confirm what happened to the 18-month-old baby, closing an investigation that had mobilized multiple security forces.
