Teachers who postpone retirement to continue teaching will receive an extra remuneration of 750 euros per month, according to a recently published decree.
This additional remuneration is conditioned on the non-existence of other teachers available to guarantee the classes in question.
The measure applies exclusively to teachers who choose to postpone their retirement and who are needed to fill gaps in the hiring of teachers.
The decree aims to address situations of teacher shortages in certain areas or schools, allowing teachers already eligible for retirement to remain in service of the educational system.
