The Judicial Police detained in Lisbon a 26-year-old man sought for attempted homicides. The suspect's capture took place in the Portuguese capital, where authorities located and arrested him.
The crime for which the man is suspected occurred in Brazil in August 2021. At that time, the suspect tried to kill a person by shooting, thus committing the crime of attempted homicide.
Brazilian authorities issued an international arrest warrant for the 26-year-old, which led to his location and detention in Portugal. After the legal proceedings, the suspect was handed over to the Judicial Police to serve the arrest warrant.
