The president of Palmela City Council, Ana Teresa Vicente, from the CDU party, acknowledged this Wednesday that problems persist in solid waste collection in the municipality. The mayor acknowledged the existing difficulties and stated that she hopes for improvements in the situation during September.

The topic was addressed during a public meeting of the municipal executive, where the matter marked part of the agenda. The discussion about waste collection thus became an important point in the meeting.

The Chega party, especially through its councilor Maria Joaquim Antunes, was one of the political forces that raised this issue in the municipal executive, demonstrating concern about the quality of the waste collection service in the municipality.
