Fire in Porto de Mós mobilizes almost 200 operatives

A forest fire broke out this Thursday in Picamilho, in the municipality of Porto de Mós, with the alert being received at 2:54 PM.

Given the situation, almost 200 operatives were mobilized to the fire location, in a joint effort to combat the flames.

The district of Leiria is under yellow warning for hot weather until Saturday, which may have contributed to conditions favorable to the outbreak and spread of the fire.
