Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin and Ukrainian teammate Sviatoslav Sudakov received Ukrainian children at the Estádio da Luz. The two players took advantage of the international break to carry out this solidarity initiative with children from Ukraine.
Trubin publicly thanked the Benfica Foundation and the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal for supporting his initiative. The goalkeeper expressed appreciation for the fact that both entities made this meeting with the children possible.
The action took place at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica's home, and featured the presence of Ukrainian children who were invited to get to know the club's facilities. This visit represents a gesture of closeness and support to the young people affected by the situation in their home country.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper, originally from Ukraine, has been an important figure in connecting the Portuguese club with the Ukrainian community, using his position to demonstrate solidarity and humanitarian support.
