The Local Health Unit of Viseu Dão-Lafões (ULSVDL) received a financing of 5 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the Hospital de São Teotónio, in Viseu. The total investment exceeded 6.5 million euros, with the difference covered by the institution's own funds. The project aims to modernize the hospital's infrastructure, reducing energy consumption and long-term operational costs. This intervention falls within the national objectives of energy transition and sustainability in the health sector.
