The Attorney General's Office confirmed the existence of five cases involving Luís Neves, former director of the Drug Trafficking Unit of the Judicial Police. The two cases considered most important are described as urgent.
Among the cases is the investigation into the house in Odemira, the car belonging to José Dias de Sousa, known as Xuxas, and the trailer used in drug transport. All these assets are under investigation by the Public Ministry.
Luís Neves was heard this week as part of these cases, a moment that comes after searches carried out at his professional premises and his home. The Public Ministry did not provide further details about the current state of the investigations.
