The PS, through councilor Rui Caetano, again placed at the center of the political debate of the Funchal City Council meeting two of the biggest concerns of the population: mobility and traffic management in the city. The municipal executive was warned by the socialist councilor that isolated interventions are not sufficient to solve the traffic problems in the capital of Madeira.
The party also insists on the urgency of creating the Municipal Police, considering it a necessity for the city. This is not the first time the PS has raised these issues, having previously raised them within the scope of local governance.
The City Council meeting was held today, serving as a stage for this new intervention by the Socialist Party on the problems that affect the quality of life of the residents of Funchal.
