Chega presented a motion of censure against the Government, which will be debated on September 8 at 3:00 PM in the Assembly of the Republic. This will be the first legislative session of the current legislature.

The decision to schedule the debate was made by the Conference of Leaders at a meeting held this Thursday, despite Parliament being outside its regular operating period.

According to the spokesperson for the Conference of Leaders, the Standing Committee will meet on September 7, Monday, to formalize the convocation of the plenary for the following day.

This solution was necessary to allow the debate to take place outside the regular operating period of the Assembly of the Republic.
