The Comunidade Vida Nova, based at the Parish of São Roque, in Funchal, is promoting weekly moments of Adoration to the Most Blessed Sacrament, inviting the entire parish community and the faithful to participate in these sessions of prayer and recollection.
The sessions take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, always between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, offering a fixed schedule for all those who wish to dedicate time to spirituality.
The initiative is inspired by biblical passages, namely Psalm 46:11 ("Be still, and know that I am God") and the Gospel of John 6:35 ("I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry"), which serve as the basis for the invitation to experience a moment of encounter and adoration of Jesus present in the Eucharist.
With the motto "Jesus is waiting for you!", Comunidade Vida Nova reinforces its commitment to promoting the life of prayer and the spiritual deepening of the local community, opening the initiative to all who seek to experience a time dedicated to the love of God.
