The forward Clau Mendes, 25 years old, was loaned by Casa Pia to Penafiel until the end of the 2026/27 season. This temporary transfer represents a change of clubs for the player, who leaves the Casa Pia emblem to play in the Portuguese Segunda Liga for Penafiel.
The 25-year-old player will strengthen the attack of the Penafiel team for the rest of the current season and also throughout the following season. This loan allows Clau Mendes to get more playing time, which he apparently was not getting at Casa Pia.
The Penafiel emblem thus manages to sign a player with experience in Portuguese professional football. The operation was carried out without the public disclosure of financial values, being a deal without reported transfer fees.
