The Onda City Council received an allocation of 49,086 euros from the State Pact against Gender-Based Violence to continue strengthening municipal policies for the prevention, awareness-raising, and care of women.
The City Council, through the Equality Coordinator, is advancing the implementation of a specialized psychological care service, aimed both at users of the VioGen system and at women who are in the early stages of the process of identifying situations of violence.
The main objective of this measure is to bring this resource closer to the population of Onda, avoiding women having to travel to Castellón to receive care.
With this funding, the municipality aims to strengthen its policies to combat gender-based violence, guaranteeing more direct and immediate access to psychological support services for women in the region.
